Freedom of Expression

July’s Creative Courage Theme: Freedom of Expression!
Celebrate your spirit of independence and inner strength in this uplifting, creative workshop for women. Using ekphrasis—the art of responding to visual images through poetry-we’ll explore themes of freedom, resilience, and self-expression. With guided prompts and shared reflection, we’ll let images spark personal insight, playful discovery, and connection. No writing or art experience needed—just curiosity, courage, and a willingness to show up as you are. Facilitated by Tiffany Baldwin, counselor at the Centre, and Shelby Smotherman, writer, visual artist, and teaching artist
This monthly gathering is a dynamic and empowering space for women who find inspiration and connection through creativity.
