Startup Academy

We are thrilled to partner with Mayor Jane Castor and the City of Tampa to launch a new initiative of our Women’s Business Centre. On September 10th, Program Facilitator Jennifer Schultz officially launched our new eight-week Startup Academy for early stage entrepreneurs. It is the latest initiative of our Tampa Bay Women’s Business Centre. Since 2013 we have helped hundreds of women to achieve their dream of business ownership. We know that when women start businesses, whole communities thrive. Female entrepreneurs spark innovation, create jobs, and strengthen local economies. They’re more likely to reinvest in their families and neighborhoods, multiplying the impact of their success.

By launching this new initiative, we’re not only closing opportunity gaps—we’re building a more vibrant and resilient community for everyone.

Thank you to our friends from the City of Tampa and The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay for making this possible.

If you’re ready to take your idea or business to the next level, don’t wait!

At the Startup Academy Kickoff Event, we were honored to share this video message from Tampa Mayor Jane Castor announcing the City of Tampa’s partnership with the Tampa Bay Women’s Business Centre. Together, we’re bringing training, resources, and grant opportunities to help Tampa entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses!
