How YOU make an impact for Mental Health

As we celebrate the first anniversary of The Kathy Castor Centre for Counseling & Wellness, we are excited to share the impact it has made across Tampa Bay.
Whether someone is battling anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply needs someone to talk to, our counseling services provide a lifeline. The need is growing—and so is our commitment.
Your gift doesn’t just open a door—it opens a mind, a heart, and a future.
Our inital funding was made possible thanks to Rep. Castor who secured a member item to help us open the door and expand staff to meet the need in the Tampa Community. Our initial grant funding will end this September so we are reaching out to friends and supporters to help us keep the momentum going.
Let’s build a community where no one faces mental health struggles alone. Join us in making sure that when someone reaches out, they find an open door waiting.
How WE make an impact:
Providing free professional counseling services
Promoting mental wellness education
Preparing future clinicians in a hands-on learning environment
How YOU make an impact:

At The Kathy Castor Centre for Counseling & Wellness, we believe that every person—regardless of income, background, or circumstance—deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care. In a time when emotional well-being is more vital than ever, we provide a lifeline to women, children, and families who might otherwise go without the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Your generosity directly fuels counseling services, trauma recovery programs, and holistic wellness initiatives that change lives every single day. With your help, we can break down the stigma of seeking help, expand our reach to underserved communities, and offer hope where it’s needed most.
