Parenting: Instructions Not Included!

June 29, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Centre for Women kicks off its 2021 Parent’s Survival Series with a discussion on challenges and coping strategies for parents.

About this event

It’s not easy being a parent of toddlers, tweens, and teens and even harder during quarantine. We will discuss common parenting challenges and coping strategies. Together, we’ll learn how to let go of being the “perfect parent” and instead learn to speak your child’s “Love Language”. We’ll explore Gottman’s positive parenting strategies through “Emotion Coaching” which helps build children’s confidence and promotes healthy intellectual and psychosocial growth.
