Brandy Polkinghorn graduated from St. Petersburg College with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership and holds both the PHR and SHRM-CP professional certifications. Born and raised in Florida, Brandy has worked in the Human Resources field for 19 years in a variety of industries and joined the Valley Bank team through the acquisition of USAmeriBank in 2018. Brandy is currently a Vice President, HR Business Partner supporting over 100 managers in various business lines to help recruit, align and sustain the talent Valley needs to succeed as an attractive and competitive employer. Brandy is a wife and mother of two young children, and enjoys spending time with her family, and attending sporting events or concerts in her personal time.

Janet Gwynn is a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and has been with Valley National Bank for the last five years recruiting Retail and Corporate positions for Alabama, Florida and New Jersey.

She has worked in the Human Resources field for thirty years specializing in payroll, benefits, employee relations, and the last five years recruiting which is her true passion.

She is eight of nine children and is considered an “army brat”. She resided in Germany and South Korea in her early childhood. She’s been a St Petersburg resident for 52 years. She has a grown son who recently became engaged and resides in Virginia. She enjoys her weekends gardening, refinishing furniture, and catching up with family and friends.
