Veronica Suarez
Veronica has 20 years of commercial credit experience. She started her career in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Florida just over 5 years ago. Veronica has worked for different size banks in a variety of positions mostly all related to credit. Her focus in the last 10 years has been creating and growing commercial credit departments and mentoring junior underwriters. Currently, Veronica is a First Vice President and Credit Officer at Valley Bank. Veronica is a graduate of Lindenwood University in Missouri, obtained her MBA at Webster University in Missouri and most recently completed a Valley Leadership program in association with the Wharton Leadership Program.
Veronica is married to Hugo and they have two children, a 12-year daughter Isabel and an 8-year old boy Victor.
Angelie H. Spurling
Angelie has 20 years of commercial and small business banking experience. She’s held positions at a variety of financial institutions and is now a Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker at Valley Bank. Angelie is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Florida School of Banking, Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Wharton Leadership Program. She is also a member of The Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay Corporate Board, University of Southern Florida Women’s Leadership Program and University of Southern Florida Alumni Association.
As a woman in business, Angelie finds inspiration when she masters a challenge or overcomes a difficult situation. She loves taking on challenges that help her grow. She’s proud to help small business owners succeed and maximize business opportunities in the Tampa Bay community.
Angelie and her husband Craig live in South Tampa with their Yorkie named Salma.
