I will also briefly share my personal testimony about a time when a major medical institution told me\, “There is nothing we can do for you\,” essentially indicating there was no hope. It was a moment that required me to make a difficult choice.\nAnalyzing Personal Obstacles to Optimism\nThis section will help participants analyze their past obstacles that may have prevented them from being more optimistic. We will examine past fears\, thought patterns\, and experiences that may have contributed to a less optimistic outlook.\nCreating New Habits for a More Optimistic Future\nIn this section\, I will present information and resources to help participants create new habits that promote change toward a more optimistic and happier future.\n\n \n\nLinda S. Plunkett\, PhD\, is a speaker and author known for her books Living a Positive Life in a Negative World: My Uphill Journey\, which delivers a message of hope and inspiration alongside practical tools\, and Supernatural Rescue: From Broken to Beautiful\, detailing her journey through brain surgery due to a tennis ball-sized tumor in her brain’s frontal lobe\, previously undetected.
