DESCRIPTION:July’s Creative Courage Theme: Freedom of Expression! \nCelebrate your spirit of independence and inner strength in this uplifting\, creative workshop for women. Using ekphrasis—the art of responding to visual images through poetry-we’ll explore themes of freedom\, resilience\, and self-expression. With guided prompts and shared reflection\, we’ll let images spark personal insight\, playful discovery\, and connection. No writing or art experience needed—just curiosity\, courage\, and a willingness to show up as you are. Facilitated by Tiffany Baldwin\, counselor at the Centre\, and Shelby Smotherman\, writer\, visual artist\, and teaching artist \nThis monthly gathering is a dynamic and empowering space for women who find inspiration and connection through creativity.
