We do feel unsure when we begin a new experience. Our counselors will provide you with a safe and welcoming atmosphere where you are respected and heard. Nervousness turns into hope!
Counseling sessions last for about an hour and typically occur once a week in the beginning and transition to a less frequent schedule. Counseling takes place in our office or virtually and an affordable fee is determined by a sliding fee scale. Mental wellness increases by building on strengths and learning skills for coping with challenges. We ask that people try counseling for at least four sessions to begin reaping the benefits. People usually attend up to 12 sessions to achieve positive outcomes.
