Our Impact

Since 2013, the TBWBC has served more than 8,000 clients. We helped over 300 women start a new business, created over 425 new jobs and helped over 350 female entrepreneurs access financial capital to expand their business ventures.

Hours of Operation

We are open Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. Evening and weekend appointments are also available with advance notice. All services are offered virtually.  *** Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Our office is located in Tampa, FL which enables us to provide services to entrepreneurs in Hillsborough, Hernando, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco and Manatee counties.

Meet Our Staff

Program Manager Charisse Medina

 

Charisse Medina is the Program Manager for the Tampa Bay WBC. Her experience in marketing, entrepreneurship and business helps our clients reach their goals. Her experience includes working for HCI, helping entrepreneurs in the Hispanic Community. Background in purchasing and administration for large school district has given Charisse the foundation of exceptional business acumen. Dedication to the Tampa Bay community can be seen through her involvement in the HPWA, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and leadership coach and judge for Miss Latina Tampa. She received a BA in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Charisse was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a military spouse and mother of three daughters. he is fluent in Spanish.

 

Marisol Adkins is the Program Assistant for the WBC.  She has over 20+ years of combined, proven experience across the finance, administrative and accounting industries. In addition, she has 3 years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. She holds an Asssociates of Science in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Hillsborough Community College.
